officeMillennium Self Storage is now open after completely transforming the 100,000 SF former Finger’s Furniture Store on 7th Street at I-10 from an eyesore to a sight to behold for future storage tenants. After a new roof, an updated façade and the installation of 400+ climate and non-climate controlled self-storage units, spaces are being rented 7 days a week with daily specials promoted on the new 50’ lighted digital sign.

Manager, Samantha Peterson, is excited about the office – professionally designed by Jill Alexander from Houston – as well as its location and space. “They are cleaning up Old Town!” she says with a grin. Samantha manages with a warm and welcoming manner and is very glad to be leasing at the state-of-the-art facility. The new Beaumont Chamber of Commerce business will hold its Ribbon Cutting Celebration on October 3, 2014 at 10:00 am with an IPAD mini giveaway winner to be announced at the top of the event.

Millennium is filling its parking lot with all types of U-Haul equipment: trucks, trailers, and towing apparatus along with an array of quality boxes and packing supplies. Commercial and residential customers can rent space, purchase products, reserve trucks and manage their account on line at millenniumstorage.com. They can also register on-line for the free IPAD mini giveaway now through October 2nd.

The self-storage property is professionally managed by one of Inside Self Storage’s top operators in Texas, United Properties Group from Tyler, Texas. “We are so glad to be part of this project and are grateful to be working with owners who care about serving the community as well as their customers”

Houston area owners, Mark Lowery and Jason Alexander, are very glad to be part of Beaumont commerce and have not only invested in the building renovation but in the lives within the neighborhood as well.

August 1st managers and owners volunteered at the next-door Boys and Girls Club of Beaumont. With the help of club director, Mike Perez, Millennium Self Storage was one of several local businesses that participated – helping over 90 children in the club create a variety of projects for summer fun and enrichment. All the projects, including flower arrangements created with a local florist, went into boxes provided by Millennium Self Storage at the end of the day. The children especially enjoyed tying bandanas on their heads and decorating their boxes.

In early spring while the Millennium Self Storage project was being developed, its management group also participated in an open house for All Saint’s Episcopal School capitalizing on a reciprocal relationship with the schools arts program. All Saint’s received donated storage space for its theater department props for over almost a year for free during the construction period. Millennium Self Storage brought cookies and balloons to the school campus during its year-end festival of art projects featuring the elementary grades. All Saint’s theater teacher, Ramona Young, helped the team allow All Saint’s teachers and parents get a jump on early registration for the IPAD giveaway scheduled to take place at the Ribbon Cutting October 3rd.
